Yep, see your point. I have bought Logic since version 5. I have multiple setups, various OS boot drives. I legitimately got this to work on my 10.7.5 drive just as an experiment.

Won't work for 10.6.8 though. I am presuming that the OP comes by Logic X by paying for it. Our main studio Mac here at the studio is running Logic 9 on 10.6.8 but we have a test Mac Pro that has 10.7.5 and 10.8.4 boot drives because we cannot just move to a new OS or app version in a pro studio. We did this for testing purposes and although we haven't been in Logic X all that much it 'seems' to be working ok under 10.7.5. That lops off all Macs (well, Mac Pros) that are earlier than early 2008.
